Drop the Worry
Tuesday, March 11th, 2014
We worry about fitting in
We worry about being liked
We worry about people being us angry at us
We worry that something tragic might happen
We worry about death, ours, theirs, everyone’s
We worry about life, ours, theirs, everyone’s
We worry ─ until we make a decision to not worry
Until we remember we are inter-beings
Until we believe we are connected
Until we feel the love that always resides within
Until we “drop it”
Then we remember
To be, to breathe, to exhale
We drop the worry
And then we remember ─ we belong
Bridging Heart and Mind with Our Breath
Wednesday, February 26th, 2014
Breathe gently in and out. Allow the exhale to be a little longer.
Release any tension, worry, or anxiety with each out breath.
Allow light in any form to arrive with each in breath.
Notice how your body feels while breathing.
Just notice, be aware, be the inner note-taker.
Welcome all the thoughts, know the exhale will take them.
Greet the critic and the judge ─ embrace them.
Breathe slower and deeper.
Relax into the fullness of the inhale and exhale.
Breathe all the way down to your feet. This breath will anchor you.
Breathe all the way up to the top of your head (your crown chakra).
This breath will open you to your divine connection.
Take a fuller breath. Tune into the wisdom of your heart-center.
With each breath, bridge your heart and mind.
Be the observer, the anchor, the wisdom, and the breath.
Rest in your breath.
Your breath takes you where you need to be ─ right here in this moment.
Welcome home.
Wisdom of the Heart
Wednesday, February 12th, 2014
What if all of your heart experiences was your map? What if the map you followed was not a linear trail of getting from here to there? What if your true guide was getting from here to here inside your heart?
Perhaps we can shift our orientation. We can leave our ordinary attitude and go for refuge to our heart. We can reduce anxiety, worry, fear, and anger in our linear thinking and expand inward with an open heart.
What if your heart said: YOU ARE HERE. And “here” meant wisdom, peace, contentment, and joy. Wouldn’t you want to go there? We need to want to go there. We can go to the refuge of the breath. We can breathe out anxiety, worry, fear, and anger. We can breathe in light, wisdom, peace, contentment and joy.
We can make the decision that inner peace is the guiding source of who we really are.
There was a time I was between here and there. Now I find myself between here and here.

Breathe and be
Savor and serve
Into the place
That has never been touched
Feeling the pureness
Residing within
An innocent soul
From beginning to end
Listening to wisdom
Surrounded by light
Belonging to Wholeness
The birth of your presence
Sacred awaking
This moment
Into the womb of your heart

Listen to Your Breath
Wednesday, January 29th, 2014
Take a moment to listen to your breath. What is your inhale and exhale revealing to you?
Listen for a word or sound. Listen for a whisper of love. Listen to the space between the breaths.
Receive a word or sound. Receive a whisper of love. Receive the space between the breaths.
Rest in the energy of a word or sound. Rest in a whisper of love. Rest in the space between the breaths.
Call to a word or sound. Call to the whisper of love. Call to the space between the breaths.
Be the word or sound. Be the whisper of love. Be the space between the breaths.
Mental Transformation
Wednesday, January 22nd, 2014
Meditation is more than just relaxing into a quiet space. Meditation is about transformation — a change in our thinking. Some questions to explore in meditation are: Am I changing? Am I more kind? Am I more compassionate and less judgmental?
Meditation is more than just one morning, one sitting, or one weekend. It’s a practice. It’s a continuum of looking at your meditation practice and noticing what has changed for good in your life. As you sit in your meditation practice, ask yourself: Is what I am meditating on for the benefit of all? Am I being more loving, kind, generous, and joyful?
What are you willing to transform?
Where is your meditation practice taking you?
Breathing Warmth: Meditations for the Soul
Monday, January 13th, 2014
Have you wanted to start a meditation practice? Or do you want to deepen your meditation practice? Start by drawing your breath inward as we prepare for a season of hibernation and going deeper inside ourselves.
In our busy lives, we rarely experience an extended period of quiet. For our meditation session(s), we will enter the quiet within ourselves as a way to deepen our connection to our soul’s journey. You are invited to enter the space of Being, rather than Doing.
The 60-minute meditations will open you to thinking differently about meditation. Meditation is about zoning in, not zoning out. Our session(s) may include looking at where our mind wanders, focusing our gaze, guided visualizations, making movement an integral part of our lives, resonating with a (personal) mantra, and stepping more fully into our thoughts. All levels of students are welcome. You may book as many sessions as you want from January 2 – March 31, 2014. Each session is 60-minutes and will take place on the phone or Skype (Monday – Friday only).

Breathing Paradise
Wednesday, October 30th, 2013
Let’s take few moments to breathe paradise. Where does paradise reside in you? Breathing in ─ Paradise. Breathing out ─ Paradise.
Slow the breath down. When you slow the breath, you slow the mind, and open the heart.
Drop into your heart center. Your heart center is a place of great awareness. Paradise.
Allow your heart center to be your teacher today. On your next breath in, notice the paradise that exists within, always.
Today’s mantra: Breathing in, I am Paradise. Breathing out, I am Paradise.
